Today we spotted a leak with the pipework on our cylinder. After sharing photos of the problem we had an appointment arranged and quickly got advice to try before the call out. Their advice worked and helped stop any more water damage. Really recommend James and the team, very supportive.

James takes absolute pride in his work and goes above and beyond. We had a multi-fuel stove installed and it's everything we wanted and more. We got a date for work to start and it started on that date, no messing about rearranging or cancelling which is very important to me. 100% reliable and was also on hand to contact with any queries or questions in the mean time. Always tidied up after themselves and very polite and talkative. We would 100% recommend James and his team. We can't thank him enough for the time and work he has put into making sure everything is up to current standards.

Absolutely lovely! Boiler had stopped working after not being used whilst having some work done. Had a cancellation so arranged to visit a few days early. Brilliant! Sorted the problem very sensibly and cheaply for me (smile). Serviced the boiler and all working now. Really lovely guys and felt very comfortable whilst they were there.

Over the Christmas holiday period we had a boiler emergency, the hot water and heating had completely failed and I was not hopeful of a swift restoration. As money savings experts suggest, a qualified, local, independent tradesperson is more likely to provide a better value, fast and professional service. As expected, due to the holidays, most companies failed to reply. However, based on his excellent reviews, I emailed James Broadbent Plumbing. The reply was friendly, prompt and he seemed genuinely keen to solve my problem. An appointment was made and James arrived first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, the 15 year old boiler was deemed beyond economic repair. He provided a detailed analysis of the defects and why the boiler was not functioning and recommended a new boiler. Despite my initial disappointment, an email arrived the next day giving a detailed range of options for me to ponder and decide exactly which boiler was right for me. All options were priced keenly and James explained what each boiler offered in terms of warranty, features, optional extras and economic efficiency. I opted for a mid-range option, based on its 10 year warranty and affordable price and we arranged a date for installation. A week later, we had a brand new boiler, wireless thermostat, and our house felt like a toasty new home again. I would not hesitate to recommend James Broadbent Plumbing to anyone in the local area based on their professionalism, honesty, fair price and efficiency. A credit to the Town.

Absolutely fantastic company. Having just moved to the area and needing our combination boiler servicing, Searched the internet and came across this company. Phoned to book a boiler service but before the appointment, we had an error message on the boiler, meaning we couldn’t get any heating, when it was extremely cold. Messaged them to ask if some one could come out, they did even better; they sent through what they believed to be the problem and what we needed to do, by video link. Within a few minutes all resolved, heating working and no charge of call out fee. We’ve since had the boiler serviced, fantastic plumber, talked through what he was doing. We needed a new part which was ordered and fitted a couple of days later, the boiler could still be used though so no problem. Very professional company, definitely recommend anyone to this company.

We needed our very old boiler looking at and James contacted us the next day and came to look at it, within two weeks his team were here fitting a new combi boiler. They were very professional, friendly and they arrived on time each day. We were very pleased with how tidy they left the job too! Only several days later, we had a pipe leak (our own fault) and within 15 minutes of calling James, a member of his team came round and fixed the problem. Very impressed. Highly recommend.

Can’t recommend these guys highly enough. Steve came out promptly and on time to assess and give a a reasonable quote explaining options and suggesting there could be cheaper options. Steve (different Steve) and Marty turned up promptly, explained what was going to happen and kept me informed through the process and did what was estimated to be 2 days in just 1 day. Absolutely brilliant. Quality work, reasonably price and totally hassle free. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

Can’t thank James and his team enough,he was the only plumber out of 4 that I rang that responded. His workmanship is second to none and his prices are very competitive and nothing is too much trouble. He supplied and fitted my new 10year guarantee boiler including a power flush of the system in 2 days and I am delighted with the end result. I would recommend him 100%. Thanks mate.

We had a problem with our boiler Thermostat November 2019. Tried lots of different plumbers, James Broadbent Plumbing and Heating was quick to reply and had an engineer out the same day who sorted the thermostat and also serviced our boiler at the same time.
